Co-Owner Peter Taber Enjoys Second Career As Artist
Co-owner Peter Taber has spent decades putting his stamp on Hobee’s wonderful – and tasty! – recipes. Lately, though, Peter has been expressing himself in a completely new way: as an artist. Though always interested in art, Peter began focusing on creating dramatic watercolors three years ago. His favorite subjects are landscapes and Hawaiiana (not surprising for someone born and raised on Oahu). Peter’s work has been exhibited at the Rengstorff House Annual Summer Arts Festival Exhibit in Mountain View and the Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society’s Harvest Exhibit in Morgan Hill. Currently, his painting “Baylands Foggy Morning” is being shown at the Silicon Valley Small Works exhibit at Santa Clara’s Mission College.
