Hobee's was
very fortunate to welcome back former SLO General Manager and all-around Hobee's
legend, Rich Hovey, to head up our temporary booth at this summer's National
Senior Olympic Games. The sales volume at our tent on the Stanford campus
far exceeded our expectations. Nevertheless, Rich showed that he was up for
the challenge and handled the busy flow with his trademark positive attitude
and good humor. He inspired his young crew and made it a point to get
to know the athletes and their stories. This special treatment led many of
the participants to check out both Palo Alto restaurants. Though Rich
is now back home in Central California, we salute his efforts and thank him
for leading this very successful endeavor.
