Why He’s The One:  It's tempting to pass Jose up for this award knowing that he'll clean up at the annual Achievement Awards anyway.  That, however, would be short-sighted. Jose gets lots of recognition because he earns it.  This winter, he took on lots more responsibility during Camille Chijate's six week leave of absence. He oversaw several intensive management changes and made periodic checks on every location from Redwood Shores to Pruneyard.  While keeping tabs on six other locations, he also continued his superb management of Hobee's Stanford, which is really perking up now that the renovations to Town and Country are nearly complete. Jose has won five Outstanding General Manager awards and it's easy to see why:  He is smart, professional, hard-working and loyal.
