June 11, 2008  Silicon Valley Metro "Who Saved Silicon Valley? It may be a wee bit of hyperbole, but we at Hobee's love author Sarah Lacey's contention that we helped save Silicon Valley after the dotcom bust in the '90's.  (It's no big deal...really!)

February 13, 2008   Restaurant and Institutions O-line  "Breakfast: Slice of Heaven"  An article delving into the popularity of coffeecake.  Hobee's is included alongside LA fave Mani's Bakery and a little-known Seattle chain called Starbucks.

April 8, 2005  Mountain View Voice "Best Breakfast/Brunch 2005"  Another long time favorite, The Voice has awarded Hobee's their Best Breakfast since 1993!

August 25, 2004  Palo Alto Weekly News  "Top of the Morning" So they switched the award from Best Breakfast to Best Sunday Brunch, either will do just fine as far as we are concerned!

July 29, 2004  Daily News "Best Place for Breakfast / Brunch" Hearing it from new papers and magazines is one thing, but hearing it from you is even better.  Thank you for choosing Hobee's for Best Breakfast in 2004!

June 2004  San Jose Magazine "Best of Silicon Valley" The review includes mention of our "egg-ceptional" omelets, our health conscious options, and of course the famous "mile high blueberry coffeecake!"

May 21, 2004  Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal "40 Under 40" So they spelled Hobee's Vice President and General Council Ed Fike's name wrong, at least they got the picture right...wait, is that him?  He can't be 38.

August 20, 2003  The Palo Alto Weekly "Best Breakfast and Best Sunday Brunch" One might say that it is not fair to award the same restaurant both awards...no comment ;-)

July 25, 2003  The Palo Alto Daily News "Best Burger / Hobee's Restaurant" This article picks Hobee's Burgers as the best around!  It's nice to have this award considering our roots; anyone remember "Hobee's Hamburger Heaven?"  It also features a quote from President Peter Taber.

March 28, 2003  The Mountain View Voice "Best Breakfast / Brunch 2003" Thank you citizens of Mountain View for another year at the top of the Best Breakfast / Brunch category!

March 7, 2003  Hobee's makes it into the The New York Times!  "36 Hour tour - Sunday, 9am - Best Brunch" In the New York Times' 36 hour tour of Palo Alto, Hobee's made it as the spot for a Sunday brunch, although you know that we are good all of the time!

October 1, 2002  The Independent "Going Out with the Habits Presents Our Restaurant of the Week: Hobee's" After a visit to our Belmont / Redwood Shores location, The Independent featured an extensive article covering practically the whole menu and including pictures of President Peter Taber and General Manager of Hobee's Redwood Shores, Nancy Tulich.
