Fun Fact: Hobee's Los Gatos is kind of like the "surprise" child born to a middle-aged couple. (We last opened a restaurant in the twentieth century - 1999 to be exact!). However, opening a Hobee's at a former Bakers Square site in Sunnyvale was one of our all-time best decisions. So when the defunct Bakers Square went on the market in Los Gatos, we jumped at the opportunity.
Media Bite: "Hobee's are locations for power breakfasts
and other Silicon Valley discussions. 'We are known for having a whos-who
of high tech," [Hobee's president Edward] Fike says. Marc Andreesen,
one of the inventors of the web browser, is reportedly a regular at the
Palo Alto restaurant, and the PayPal success story began at Hobee's. With
so many tech luminaries in Los Gatos, having Hobee's here seems like a natural."
